It's going to be legendary ... again!
Let's ride breast cancer into the ground!
Beaumont went a little pink! This is where "The Hole in the Head Gang" had lunch on day #1.Is she not the cutest? And the pinkest? She is a 4-H-er from the Lacombe area.Pink ladies getting ready for the trail -- Lacombe, I think. The Hole in the Head Gang rides again. (Lacombe?)Your guess is as good as mine. Lovely couple of butts though! *grin*Don't like the looks of that sky! Nope. Not at all! But did the ladies quit? Not on your life.Welcome to Airdrie. Man, THAT was a lo-o-o-o-ng first day! Airdrie Ag Society REALLY did it up right. We can't thank them enough.Airdrie. Yum!See, it isn't always about women. Men can be afflicted as well.Maybe in the future there won't be "survivors". Maybe there will be "escapees" instead. That's what I want.Crossfield, I think. That's Ray Stuhl and three of The Gang. Everybody LOVED Ray's cowboy poetry.Santa wore PINK! (Grant McMorland drove truck and helped throughout the whole ride.) With a hat like that, I figure he could have come along simply as the mascot!Yours Truly in my rather rude looking body cast, and my unflappable son, Rusty, at the GREAT entertainment hosted by West Wind Veterinary Hospital ... location: Fultonvale. She's insane. So's her sister! But WHAT a performance! The Graham Sisters ... Amber and Krista. They don't LOOK like they have holes in their heads!Don't know who, or where ... but ain't that purdy?Brett Kissell did a fine job of entertaining at our wind-up party. Too bad there weren't more of us to be entertained!Pink ladies in their "Kenny hats". I hope we'll see these women again next year. They were priceless.I think this was day #2, or maybe #3. Costumes were optional, but they were encouraged. This settler won a prize -- a pink watch, I think -- even if they didn't have them back in those days!
