It's more than an adventure.
You’ll be doing something great!

Through the pledges you raise, you will support
breast cancer research, education and effective treatment
funded by
Alberta Cancer Foundation.

It's going to be legendary...again!

Idea:
What if we do educational stuff that kids would enjoy?
So we created seminars.
(Don't groan!  These are great!)
We have a veterinarian who will talk to you about equine nutrition
and other neat equine stuff to keep your horse healthy.
We have a life skills coach
who will play team-building games with you.
And we have a riding coach
who will teach you all sorts of neat riding skills ...
not just telling you to stop slouching in the saddle!  *grin*

When you sign up to ride,
you'll get a special t-shirt
and if you choose to attend the seminars
you'll receive a certificate of merit.
Idea:
What if we made it easier for kids to raise money?
So we created Wild Pink-a-Paloozas!
You decide that you want to run a one day ride with prizes.
You tell us.
We send you a manual on how to do it,
a template for making a poster,
t-shirts you can sell at the event,
plus two prizes you can give away at the event.

And if you ask real nice (and we're not wildly busy),
we'll even come and work your Palooza with you.
Interested?

Idea:
What if we could find a company willing to help kids raise the money needed to join this ride?
We're still working on it.

Haven't found one yet ... but don't count us out!
You keep working to raise money and if we find a sponsor
willing to go 50/50 with you,
we'll let you know pronto ...
and then you'll be able to ride twice as long!
THIS PAGE IS NOT FOR ADULTS

This page is for 4-H kids, Pony Club kids
and
kids who want to join their parents on this ride.

Hey, kids!
We are trying to make this ride
special for you.
We want it to be an adventure you remember for a long time
and one you want to repeat next year.

If you have any ideas of how we can do that,
please drop me a line.

I'm all ears.

And remember:
there are no dumb ideas.
(Sometimes there are dumb answers,
but never dumb questions and never dumb ideas!)
